Titan FC 71 Results

Titan Fighting Championship returns to action with Titan FC 71, happening live from the InterContinental in Miami, Florida. The nine-fight card features both intriguing prospects and veterans of the MMA scene.

Headlining the card is a battle for the vacant Titan FC Featherweight Championship, as Andrew Whitney takes on UFC veteran Ali AlQaisi. American Top Team product Whitney carries a 16-8 record into the bout, riding a two-fight losing streak and having last fought nearly two years ago. Back in June, Jordan’s “Royal Fighter” AlQaisi rebounded from an 0-2 stint in the UFC to pick up a win at UAE Warriors 20.

Team Alpha Male fighter Amir Naser Kazemi enters the cage in the co-main event, fighting highly-touted prospect Ryan Kuse. Kazemi carries a 1-1 professional record into the fight, last fighting to a loss in June 2019. Kuse, meanwhile, has gotten off to a 3-0 start in his professional career, most recently taking a unanimous decision victory at Titan FC 68 back in March.

Titan FC 71 will also feature the return of MMA legend and one-time UFC middleweight title challenger Nate Marquardt. After capturing the Strikeforce welterweight belt in 2012, he would go 3-9 until he initially retired after losing to Cezar Ferreira in November 2017. The 42 year old’s comeback fight will be against Michael Cora, who since earning a shot on the Dana White Contender Series back in 2017, has gone 1-4, most recently losing by Ezekiel choke at Titan FC 66.

Also on the Titan FC 71 main card is a battle of blue-chip prospects. Former U23 World Wrestling champion Richie Lewis returns to action for his second professional bout, facing Xtreme Couture-trained “Starboy” Ernesto Rodriguez. Rodriguez sports a 2-0 record going into the fight, with both fights coming earlier this year, while Lewis picked up a decision victory in his professional MMA debut at Titan FC 68.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with Titan FC 71 results, with the preliminary card starting at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT on Titan FC’s Facebook page, followed by the main card at 8pm ET/5pm PT on UFC Fight Pass.
