ONE Championship Full Circle

ONE Championship’s double champion Reinier de Ridder will be looking to defend his middleweight title against the ONE Welterweight champion Kiamrian Abbasov, of Kyrgyzstan. “So I beat the middleweight champion, I beat the light heavyweight champion. I can now beat the welterweight champion,” de Ridder said. “It’s good that he talks about finishing me and all, it’s very funny. I don’t think the fight will go five rounds. It definitely will finish earlier. I’m just asking him honestly if he’s ready for the fight,” Said Abbasov.

Double champion Reinier de Ridder is undefeated in MMA with a stunning record of 14-0-0. This Dutch fighter is fresh off two victories against former champion Aung La Nsang. Reigning welterweight champion Kiamrian Abbasov is on a five-fight win streak with a victory coming by way of knockout in his last fight. Both of these men will be fighting for double champion status in the ONE Championship main event. For this fight and other ONE Full Circle results please see below.

In the co-main event of the evening, the kickboxing light heavyweight championship will be contested with champion Roman Kryklya, of Ukrainedefending against SB Gym‘s Murat Aygun. The defending champion Kryklya had this to say in the pre-fight interview, “Of course [being the champ] is important, it’s the most important thing in my life now. It’s like the best [achievement] of my fighting career and I’m motivated to the maximum to defend it. For this moment, I am concentrating on my fight with Murat.” On potentially taking a title in a major organization Aygun said, “The belt means everything to me. Because I have many belts but this is the one from the greatest organization and this is what I want.”

A long-awaited trilogy will also be settled at ONE Full Circle. Aung La N Sang, of Myanmar, will again face Russia’s Vitaly Bigdash. The two fighters are tied 1-1 in the series, this bout has been scheduled and canceled multiple times. And finally, the two can settle their score.”This Friday’s fight is gonna be a totally different fight, and it’s gonna be fun. The fans are gonna love it, and if we both do our jobs, we’re gonna put on an epic fight,” Said Aung La N Sang.

Also on the main card is a standout kickboxing bout with a K-1 MAX champion fighting against an Enfusion champion with Enriko Kehl versus Tayfun Özcan. Both men are coming off losses in the ONE Featherweight Grand Prix and will be looking to prove their rightful place in ONE Championship. “Everybody knows that Tayfun is one of the best fighters in the world, but he did not impress me with his performance [against Sitthichai]. I hope he’ll show a better performance against me,” said Kehl.

Also on ONE Full Circle is Brazil’s Fabricio de Andrade meeting the streaking Filipino fighter Jeremy Pacatiw. “Pacatiw arrived in ONE to be the next great Team Lakay product and defeated Chen Rui in his debut performance. Now he gets a top-five ranked opponent to gauge where he stands among the elite in the division.” Writes MMA Sucka. Plus, Scottish Kickboxer Chris Shaw will face the Russian Vladimir Kuzmin in his promotional debut. All this and much more with ONE Championship Full Circle, results can be found below.
