Two ONE Championship World Title matchups will headline ONE on Prime Video 3 on Friday, October 21, per MMAFighting.com.
In the marquee slot, ONE Middleweight and Light Heavyweight World Champion Reinier De Ridder defends the middleweight crown against Shamil Abdulaev. Abdulaev will be making his promotional debut against the reigning middleweight king and posts a professional record of 13-1.
“The Dutch Knight” has dominated his opposition since arriving in ONE. He is a perfect 16-0 with 14 finishes. In his last outing at ONE 159, De Ridder smoothly finished Vitaly Bigdash with an inverted triangle choke. Abdulaev will be a fresh challenger as De Ridder returns to the Circle for the third time in 2022.
The co-main event features one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the year when Brazilian rivals collide for the ONE Bantamweight World Championship.
Newly minted divisional king John Lineker will bring the gold with him for his first defense against one of the sport’s fastest-rising stars, Fabricio Andrade.
Lineker notched the title win with a knockout victory over Bibiano Fernandes in March at ONE: Lights Out . All the while, “Wonder Boy” has been calling him out as he has ascended up the official ONE athlete rankings. Andrade will try to keep his seven-bout win streak rolling and collect his first World Title in the process.
Andrade has not been shy about calling for his shot, and now it has arrived against one of the pound-for-pound hardest hitters in the sport.
ONE on Prime Video 3 will air live on Friday, October 21.
