GLORY 82 Results

The world’s leading kickboxing promotion GLORY returns to Germany with another stacked fight card. GLORY 82 takes place on November 19th at the Maritim Hotel in Bonn, Germany. A heavyweight scrap between Antonio Plazibat and Raul Catinas serves as a feature bout of the evening.

Antonio Plazibat vs. Raul Catinas

Plazibat rides a three-fight winning streak and won seven out of the last eight of his fights. Two out of last three wins were against Thabib Khbabez at GLORY 78 and GLORY 80 Studio. The other one was against Catinas’ fellow countryman Benjamin Adegbuyi. All three were knockouts.

Catinas made his promotional debut at GLORY 78, where he lost to Nordine Mahieddine by a unanimous decision.

Welterweight Title Bout

The welterweight gold will be up for taking after the former champion Cédric Doumbé announced his retirement from kickboxing. Now the new title holder will be determined as Alim Nabiyev takes on Endy Semeleer

Nabiyev is a former two-time welterweight title challenger. In his last promotional appearance, he defeated Troy Jones at GLORY Collision 3. Since then he fought one more time and beat Andrei Ostrovanu.

Semeleer is a former welterweight title challenger himself. He defeated Jay Overmeer at Enfusion 104 to win the belt. He also holds belts in both 72.5 kg and 75 kg divisions. He currently enjoys a six-fight winning streak.
