ONE Championship will have a marquee kickboxing contest headline ONE Fight Night 13 on August 4. Chingiz Allazov and Marat Grigorian will meet for the first time in 10 years at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium for the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Championship. ONE announced the stunning featherweight war on Wednesday.

The main event title tilt will bolster ONE’s summer lineup in a major way. Allazov has enjoyed a historic run to the gold, and he is ready for the first defense of the belt. For Grigorian, it’s a chance to assert his dominance over the Azerbaijani-Belarusian and get redemption in a ONE title bout.

When the two first met in 2013, it was ruled a no-contest. A rematch would happen within a year, with the Armenian scoring a unanimous decision victory. Since that time, both men have vaulted into pound-for-pound discussions.

Grigorian was a Glory Kickboxing World Champion and continued his success on the global stage with three victories under his belt, including his most recent win over Tayfun Ozcan last year at ONE Fight Night 2 in one of the best fights of the year. The #2-ranked featherweight contender’s lone loss came to Superbon Singha Mawynn with the kickboxing belt up for grabs. Capturing ONE gold would only bolster his legacy.

Allazov has rocketed to superstardom with outstanding performances in ONE over the past year. The former K-1 World Champion won the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix and knocked out Superbon to claim the featherweight crown. The string of successes put him at the top of the mountain.

The two amazing featherweights will now collide for a third time in a perfect scenario. They will main event a high-profile event in U.S. primetime as two of the best kickboxers in the world. This is a summer treat for all combat sports fans, and it goes down live on Prime Video.

ONE Fight Night 13 airs live from Bangkok on Prime Video on Friday, August 4. The event is free for all Amazon Prime members in the U.S. and Canada.
