The main event is set for UFC Fight Pass Invitational 5, as Gordon Ryan takes on Mason Fowler.

The match-up was announced on Saturday and “The King” posted about it on his Instagram stating, “Ask and you shall receive. Fans get the long-awaited match against Mason, and we get to see Peña lose…again 😂. Dec 9th, Las Vegas, only on @ufcfightpass

Ryan competed for the first time in 2023 at WNO 20, as he took home the victory against Patrick Gaudio via armbar. He was out of action for the majority of the year due to unforeseen health issues.

This isn’t the only match-up lined up for the Team New Wave product. He will also be taking on Lucas Barbosa at WNO 21 on November 30.

Fowler won the last UFC Fight Pass Invitational tournament in 2022, beating Pat Shahgholi, Patrick Gaudio and Nick Griffith in the finals. And most recently the Caio Terra competitor won his division at the European Open.

Also announced for UFC Fight Pass Invitational 5 was the co-main event, as Nicholas Meregali takes on Felipe Pena.

The event can be seen live and only on UFC Fight Pass.
