Its November 1st and its only a matter of time before the Christmas music starts playing across every radio station and store (if it hasn’t started already). The month of November has given birth to many a talent in the mixed martial arts world. Here’s just a few of the best of the best born in November

Justin Gaethje (25-4, 8-4 UFC)

“The Highlight” was born November 18, 1988, in Tucson, Arizona. The UFC lightweight is a fan favorite and in his last fight at UFC 291, stopped Dustin Poirier to become the UFC BMF Champion. A wrestler at heart, Gaethje loves to throw down as well as evident by his fights with Michael Chandler, Tony Ferguson, and Rafael Fiziev.

Jorge Masvidal (35-17, 12-10 UFC)

Another BMF Champion, Jorge Masvidal was born November 12, 1984, in Miami, Florida. “Gamebred” competed as a professional mixed martial artist for 20 years, gaining fame in Strikeforce and the UFC. Masvidal now runs his own MMA promotions, iKON FC and Gamebred Fighting Championship

Benson Henderson (30–12, 11-3 UFC)

“Smooth” Benson Henderson celebrates his birthday on November 16th. Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Henderson debuted professionally two days after his twenty third birthday. Competing in the 155-lbs. division most of his career, Henderson rose to the top of the UFC and WEC lightweight division, having only failed to claim championship gold in his run with Bellator.

Josh Barnett (35-8, 7-3 UFC)

Born in Seattle, Washington, Josh Barnett will be 46-year-old come November 10th. A true pioneer, Barnett utilized catch wrestling to compete across many promotions including PRIDE, Affliction, Strikeforce, and the UFC. Dawning the nickname “Warmaster”, Barnett saw much success throughout his combat sports career.

Don Frye (20-9-0(1), 9-1 UFC)

Known for his epic battles in PRIDE and the UFC, Don Frye was born November 23, 1965, in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Frye competed in professional combat sports from 1989 to 2011—an astounding twenty-two years. Frye also had stints across several professional wrestling promotions and has enjoyed acting since 2004.
