Your MMA weekend gets started just a little bit early today. At just past 12 noon ET/ 9 am PT, the schedule of fights kicks off in the City of Light, Paris, France for Bellator‘s second card on its Champions Series for 2024. All told, today’s card features 10 bouts inside the Bellator cage.

If you’re inside the United States, you can watch the event this afternoon on the promotion’s streaming home, Max (formerly HBO Max). Outside of America, Bellator Champions Series 2 is available on DAZN in most markets, as will all subsequent Bellator shows.

Main Event

In your main event of the afternoon, you’ll see a fight for the Bellator MMA Bantamweight Championship. Current titleholder Patchy Mix (19-1 MMA, 8-1 Bellator) takes on challenger and No. 4 contender Magomed Magomedov (20-3 MMA, 4-2 Bellator.) It’ll be a five-round fight at five minutes per round to close out the show.

This is the second head-to-head meeting between these two men. Back in December of 2022, Mix submitted Magomedov (guillotine choke) in round two.

Co-Main Event

Immediately before that, the Bellator Champions Series 2 co-main event takes place at a contracted catchweight (175 lbs.) PFL crossover Cedric Doumbe (5-1 MMA, Bellator promotional debut) meets Jaleel Willis (16-5 MMA, 4-3 Bellator) in a three-round affair. Willis is a replacement for Derek Anderson (17-4, 1 NC MMA, 8-4 Bellator), who withdrew from the card amid his involvement in a motorcycle accident.

Rest of the Card

Also on today’s main card, you’ll see a middleweight bout for the No. 1 ranking between Gregory Babene (23-11 MMA, 5-0 Bellator) and Costello van Steenis (14-3 MMA, 6-2 Bellator), a featherweight contest matching Yves Landu (20-9 MMA, 5-1 Bellator) with Jonas Bilharinho (11-2-1 MMA, Bellator promotional debut), and a catchweight (158 lbs.) contest versing Archie Colgan (9-0 MMA. 5-0 Bellator) and Thibault Gouti (17-6 MMA, 2-1 Bellator).
