After eight months away, women’s MMA promotion Invicta Fighting Championships (Invicta FC) returns for its first show of 2024 on this Friday evening. Later tonight, Shannon Knapp‘s organization returns to the same venue where Invicta began its life 12 years ago.

Memorial Hall is the site for tonight’s Invicta FC 55. Live coverage begins on the promotion’s official YouTube channel with the prelims at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT before moving over to its new linear TV home, CBS Sports Network at 9 pm ET/ 6 pm PT with the main card.

International viewers, take note: Invicta FC 55 is available as a pay-per-view on YouTube this evening. All told, tonight’s event features seven bouts.

Main Event

At the top of the bill tonight is the battle for the Invicta FC Bantamweight Championship in the Invicta FC 55 main event. Current champion Talita Bernardo (10-4 MMA, 3-0 Invicta) defends her title for the first time against challenger Olga Rubin (9-3 MMA, 2-1 Invicta) in a five-round fight at five minutes per round.

Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of Invicta FC 55 features a strawweight bout matching 13-fight veteran Kay Hansen (7-6 MMA, 5-3 Invicta) against Sayury Canon (3-0 MMA, 1-0 Invicta).

Also tonight, you’ll see an atomweight bout between Saori Oshima (14-4 MMA, Invicta promotional debut) and Andressa Romero (6-4-1 MMA, Invicta promotional debut,) a bantamweight contest versing Taylor Guardado (4-2 MMA, 0-1 Invicta) and Yoko Higashi (8-4 MMA, Invicta promotional debut), an atomweight fight matching Elisandra Ferreira (6-2 MMA, 2-0 Invicta) against Katie Saull (6-6 MMA, 1-3 Invicta), a flyweight contest between Zoe Nowicki (professional and Invicta debut) and Josiane Oliveira (professional and Invicta debut), and a flyweight bout pitting Fallon Johnson (professional and Invicta debut) against Violeta Mendoza (1-0 MMA, Invicta debut.)
