LFA 98 Results

The main event features a clash of talented middleweights as Josh Fremd will challenge Bruno Oliveira. Oliveira will be making his LFA debut after having lost in his last fight on the Dana White Contender Series. He is a well-rounded martial artist and this should be a good fight.

Josh Fremd will be entering this fight having won four consecutive fights, two under the LFA umbrella. He won both of those LFA fights via stoppage in the first round. He’s looked tremendously sharp of late. This is part of the LFA Middleweight Tournament and the winner will face the winner of Anthony Adams and Gregory Rodrigues. So this is a huge fight for both.

In the co-feature bout of the evening lightweights, JJ Okanovich will face off with Lucas Clay. Their combined record is a very impressive 13-2 and both are super talented fighters. JJ Okanovich has won six fights in a row and fought for Bellator before fighting in the Dana White Contender Series. He won that fight but was not offered a contract despite his victory.

Lucas Clay has fought for LFA in the past but bounced around some other events and now finds himself looking to climb the lightweight ladder. This is a fight that could produce a future world champion contender. The winner will find himself in a big fight, while the loser will take a sizeable step back.

The LFA event kicks off tonight on UFC Fight Pass at 6:00 PM PST while the prelims kick off at 5 PM PST and can be seen on LFA’s Facebook page.
