LFA 125 Results

Get ready for an action-packed card from the LFA tonight when the strawweight belt is up for grabs in Niagara Falls. Jacqueline Amorim and Loveth Young nearly fought for the belt last year before it fell through at the last minute. Three months later, they will again headline an LFA card to earn a coveted ticket to bigger opportunities. Follow right here MMASucka brings you live LFA 125 results.

The Main Event- “The Nigerian Terminator” vs  “Jacque”

Every strawweight champion for the LFA has gone on to sign with the UFC. Once again vacant, the unclaimed belt will surely get the attention of major promotions.

Jacqueline Amorim is a BJJ black and world champion but she has the power to shut the lights out as well, as displayed in her most recent ten-second KO of Megan Owen. Choosing to strike with Loveth Young, however, could prove to be unwise. Young is an excellent kickboxer and hits harder than about any strawweight in any organization.

While the fight could end up going several different ways, both fighters each have five fights or less, meaning they could show some new skills. It is not quite as simple as a striker vs. grappler match, but that could be a loose guide for where each woman will push the fight. Check out a full preview of the fight published before their original booking here.

Rest of the Card

While LFA 125 has been hit by a lot of illness and injury, what remains is rich. Solomon Renfro was one of the biggest prospects to not win on Dana White’s Contender Series last year, and now he will get to showcase his improvements when he fights Josh Fugitt in the co-main event.

Another DWCS alum fights just before Renfro as Hilarie Rose gets a tough matchup with Canadian Muay Thai striker Ashley Nichols. Rose has gone 1-1 since her shot on the Contender Series in 2020, while Nichols has not fought since competing for Invicta FC nearly three and a half years ago.
