KSW 68 Results

KSW continues a new chapter in promotion history with events taking place each month. This time it makes its way to Radom with KSW 68. The fight card, which consists of eight bouts, will be headlined by the KSW Featherweight Title match as defending champion Salahdine Parnasse defends against Daniel Rutkowski

KSW 68 will broadcast live on Viaplay and on KSW TV in select countries, with the event starting at 2:00pm ET / 11:00am PT.

KSW 68 – Featherweight Title Fight

In the KSW 68 main event, Parnasse will defend the featherweight championship against Rutkowski, who was champion of FEN and Babilon MMA promotions simultaneously. He vacated both belts when he signed with KSW. The Polish fighter has one fight in the promotion when at KSW 64 he knocked out Filip Pejic in a second round. However, thanks to his past achievements he quickly received his title shot. Now Radom’s own ‘Rutek’ will challenge for KSW gold riding a 13-fight win streak.

This will be a second title defense for Parnasse in his current reign. A former KSW interim featherweight champion was awarded a title when Mateusz Gamrot vacated the belt after signing with the UFC. He lost it to Daniel Torres at KSW 58, when he was knocked out in the first round. He has regained it in a rematch at KSW 65 when he defeated Torres by a unanimous decision.

Damian Janikowski vs. Tomasz Jakubiec

Olympic wrestling bronze medalist Damian Janikowski returns to the KSW circular cage after suffering a decision loss to Paweł Pawlak at KSW 63. It seemed that after defeating Andreas Gustafsson and Jason Radcliffe. Janikowski is back on track to once again become a force to reckoned with. However, the aforementioned defeat to Pawlak forces the WCA team member to find a way to return to the win column.

Tomasz Jakubiec is a Polish MMA circuit veteran who has fought for minor promotions such as PLMMA and Armia Fight Night. He made his KSW debut back in July 2020, when he lost to Andrzej Grzebyk by a TKO in the second round.

KSW 68 will also feature matchups between experienced Polish fighters, such as Michał Kita, who will face former Dana White’s Contender Series competitor Ricardo Prasel in a heavyweight clash, and Tomasz Romanowski, who will take on Michał Pietrzak
