BKFC 26 Results

BKFC returns to action tonight with BKFC 26, live from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

At the top of the card, lightweight champion Luis Palomino will attempt to become the promotion’s first double champ, moving up to welterweight to rematch champion Elvin Brito. “The Baboon” Palomino debuted against Brito, picking up a unanimous decision victory at BKFC 10. He then went on to win the inaugural belt in his next fight, and has defended it four times since. Brito has won four in a row since his loss, including a decision win over Kaleb Harris at BKFC Fight Night Jackson in his last fight to capture the title.

The promotion’s first interim title will also be up for grabs, as champion Thiago Alves is currently working through contract negotiations. Uly Diaz and Francesco Ricchi are competing to face him, should the former UFC title challenger resign. Diaz has won every fight except for one in the BKFC ring, which was a loss to Alves, while Ricchi has gone 4-0.

The original “Queen of BKFC”, Bec Rawlings, returns to the promotion after a couple of years away, taking on the always-game fan-favorite Britain Hart. A win for either fighter, but especially Rawlings, will put them in a prime position for a crack at the winner of the upcoming title fight between champion Christine Ferea and challenger Taylor Starling.

Former UFC bantamweight contender Jimmie Rivera makes his long-awaited promotional debut as well, fighting the undefeated boxing standout Howard Davis.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with BKFC Fight Night Jackson 2 results, with the preliminary card starting live at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT on BKFC’s YouTube page, followed by the main card at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT on the BKTV app and FITE TV.
