Cage Warriors 142: Wales

Reigning and defending Flyweight champion Sam Creasey will look to add a title defense to his record when he faces top-contender Stipe Brčić. The Cage Warriors titleholder “Urai” Creasey is looking to rebound after a loss in his last bout and has an overall MMA record of 15-4-0. It was a non-title loss as his opponent, Luke Shanks, failed to make the championship weight at Cage Warriors 132. The Croatian-born challenger Brčić will be looking to take a world title at Cage Warriors 142.

“I’m looking forward to sharing the cage with Germany’s number one and putting on a hell of a fight for those who missed me in London.” The Champion Creasey said.

“It’s an honour to fight for the best promotion in Europe. As always, the fans can expect a great show from me. Sam is a good fighter and a real champ. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to win the belt. Let the best man win!” The challenger Brčić responded.

Cage Warriors 142 will host a welterweight co-main event between “The Beast” Matthew Bonner of England against “Evil” Oban Elliott of Wales. Both of these combatants are coming off of wins in their most recent bouts at Cage Warriors 137 and Cage Warriors 138 respectively. Additionally, Welsh-born Aaron Aby will look to continue his win streak at flyweight against Michelangelo Lupoli.

Headlining the preliminary card will be a showdown between the Scottish Chris Bungard facing Brazil’s Erick da Silva.
