BKFC 14: Announced Fights And Early Predictions

Check out our BKFC 14 preview and be ready for the action next month. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will host its 14th pay-per-view event on November 14, live on the BKFC app. The event will take place at the InterContinental Miami Hotel and Resorts in Miami, Florida.

BKFC 14 Preview

Thus far, BKFC has announced officially two fights. The first fight will determine BKFC bantamweight interim champion. In this scrap, Dat Nguyen will “toe the line” with Reginald Barnett Jr. Nguyen’s original opponent, undefeated bare-knuckle boxer Johnny Bedford, was pulled from the fight due to injury.

Nguyen holds an impressive pro boxing record of 20-3, earning his last bare-knuckle victory via TKO in the first round. Barnett holds a professional combat sports record of 8-6.

Nguyen will come out on top. The Vietnamese fighter will outwork Bennett in the clinch.  His fight IQ, toughness, and constant forward pressure will add up to be too much for the 34-year old Barnett to handle. In the end, Nguyen’s experience will provide him the edge in this fight, and will earn him the BKFC 135-lb. Interim Championship.

The main event features Luis Palomino as he defends his BKFC super welterweight title against Jim Alers.

This fight promises fireworks. Jim Alers, a UFC vet, and the undefeated bare-knuckle boxer have earned 3 of his 4 BKFC victories by TKO/KO. While competing in MMA, “The Beast” finished 12 of his 14 professional victories.

Luis Palomino is also known for his finishing ability. Of his 26 MMA victories, the “Baboon” has finished 17 of them. The 40-year old Peruvian has faced off with the likes of Justin GaethjePat Curran, and Jorge Masvidal. Palomino defeated Isaac Vallie-Flagg at BKFC 11 to become the inaugural BKFC Super Welterweight Champion.

This fight will be a slugfest and will not see the judge’s scorecards. Alers will knockout Palomino in an upset victory to become the new BKFC Super Welterweight Champion.

All in all, it promises to be an outstanding night of fights and the two title fights will undoubtedly deliver in action and violence.
