BKFC 36 Results

On the heels of Mardi Gras, BKFC makes its first venture into New Orleans tonight as BKFC 36 goes down live from the Pontchartrain Convention & Civic Center in nearby Kenner, Louisiana.

The main event features BKFC’s heavyweight kingpin Arnold Adams making his second title defense in his second title reign against the surging former UFC middleweight contender Alan Belcher. After taking a year and a half away after losing his belt to Chase Sherman at BKFC 7, Adams returned with a vengeance at BKFC 16 and has rattled off four wins in a row, with three being by stoppage and two in title fights.

Meanwhile, since returning to action after eight years away from competition, Belcher has looked nearly unstoppable as a heavyweight. He defeated Tony Lopez by decision at BKFC 20 in his return, but has since rattled off six straight stoppage wins in four boxing bouts and two BKFC fights. The Mississippi native Belcher defeated Frank Tate by a vicious first-round knockout in a title eliminator at BKFC Fight Night Jackson 2 the last time he stepped in the BKFC ring.

The co-main event is a pivotal lightweight clash between Bobby Taylor and the undefeated Welshman James Lilley, while the feature fight sees former welterweight title challenger Kaleb Harris look to earn his second win in a row against the fast-rising Brad Kelly.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with BKFC 36 results, with the preliminary card starting live at 8pm ET/5pm PT on BKFC’s YouTube page, followed by the main card at 9pm ET/6pm PT on the BKFC app.
