Fury FC 56 Results

Fury FC returns to Texas for the promotion’s first pro card of 2022 as it hosts Fury FC 56 at the Cowboy’s Dancehall in San Antonio. MMA Sucka brings live coverage of this card and many more.
In the headliner, UFC veteran Masio Fullen (14-8) takes on Louisiana’s Jesse Butler (10-4). Fullen is set for his Fury FC debut after scoring victories in three of his last four bouts. The Mexican finisher is known for his knockout ability, as he has finished nearly half of his pro wins in that fashion. However, Fullen has a quality grappling game as well considering his five submission victories. In 22 pro bouts, the 34-year-old has seen the judges’ scorecards just seven times. He has shared the cage with the likes of Alex Caceras, Makwan Amirkhani, and Leonardo Morales, and even earned a victory over Alejandro Perez.
Jesse Butler looks to spoil the UFC veteran’s American regional scene debut. Butler makes his second walk to the Fury FC cage after scoring an early submission win over Dimitre Ivy at Fury FC 50 back in September. The 29-year-old has put together a three-fight win streak and has convincingly won four of his last five. Butler is a quality submission specialist scoring eight of his 10 wins that way. In his 15 pro bouts, he’s only been to the judges’ scorecards five times. His resume includes a tough battle with Levi Mowles and a convincing win over Mike Barnett. This is a quality featherweight scrap to cap off an 18-fight card.
In the co-main event, former CFFC welterweight champ Bassil Hafez (6-3-1) squares off with UFC vet and former Fury FC welterweight champ, Anthony Ivy (8-5). Hafez makes his promotional debut for Fury FC after suffering a close defeat via decision at CFFC 94. The 30-year-old submission specialist has scored four of his six wins by submission and suffered two of his three losses by split decision. He’s shared the cage with Jeremiah Wells, Evan Cutts, and Christain Savoie. It will be quite the clash of styles as he takes on Ivy tonight.
Anthony Ivy makes his seventh walk to Fury FC cage at Fury FC 56. Ivy has finished all eight of his pro wins and has only been to decision one time in his pro career. The 32-year-old hometown hero has shared the cage with Bryan Barberena and Christian Aguilera. Ivy looks to end a three-fight skid, following a tough loss at Fury FC 46, and earn his first win since 2019 tonight at Fury FC 56.
Also on the card, UFC vet and former Fury FC heavyweight champ Juan Adams (8-4), grappling standout Kody Steele (0-0), tenured MMA vet Richard Odoms (14-5), and Jiu-Jitsu specialist Lorram Esteves (4-1).
