Louisiana’s JD Domengeaux Set to Headline Tuff-N-Uff Card

Tuff-N-Uff, the premier amateur MMA organization in the country will host its first professional event in many years with a headliner main event featuring Louisiana’s “Swamp Thing” JD Domengeaux as he takes on former UFC veteran Cody McKenzie. The welterweight showdown will take place on the September 14, 2018, card. Canada’s Z Promotions will partner with Tuff-N-Uff to bring Fight Night 7 to the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

JD Domengeaux vs. Cody McKenzie

“Swamp Thing” Invading Sin City

The Louisiana native, Domengeaux, currently trains at the Vegas-based Syndicate MMA. This will mark Domengeaux’s second bout of the year, having a contest in May 2018 canceled. He will look to improve upon his 12-4 record which saw him lose a tough outing at WFC 82 against Christopher Anthony. Domengeaux is up to the challenge of facing the former 10-time UFC veteran, Cody McKenzie. McKenzie has been susceptible to being defeated on the ground. This will fit squarely into Domengeaux’s wheel-house of ground and pound. Look for the Louisiana native to put on a big showing in the world capital of MMA. Domengeaux told MMASucka he’s feeling great and focused.

Rest of the Event

The co-main event will feature former UFC and Invicta FC fighter DeAnna Bennett. Her opponent will be former LFA flyweight Kelly Kobold. Both women are coming off of victories and would love nothing more to keep their momentum going. Bennett will look to stay on track for her return to the UFC while Kobold looks to continue her upward climb in her long professional career to step onto the biggest stage of MMA in the near future.

If you are in the area, make sure to check out the Fight Night 7 show. The event is set for Friday, September 14, 2018, live from the Orleans Hotel and Casino. Very few seats remain but check out tickets here to support these amazing fighters.
