KSW 61 Results

KSW 61 is set for its first crowd-attended event of 2021. KSW will be able to have half-capacity inside the Ergo Arena on Saturday, June 05, 2021. The main event features five-time World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski as he takes on KSW 1 tournament winner Lukasz Jurkowski. The night’s co-main event will feature former featherweight champion, Salahdine Parnasse, as he returns to the cage after losing his title. The road to redemption starts with Filip Pejic, who is coming off of a 12-second knockout victory. KSW 61 can be seen worldwide on the KSW app, KSWTV, or on FiteTV.

The card will also feature a huge heavyweight clash with KSW veteran Michal Kita battling Darko Stosic. Kita is coming off of a loss to the champion, Phil de Fries, and wants another shot at the gold. “Each failure teaches, and I hope I drew the right conclusions! The fight with Darko Stosic may open the door to another fight for the KSW belt and I hope I will use it to get another shot,” Kita told MMASucka. Just as dangerous is UFC veteran Darko Stosic, who scored a huge knockout in his KSW debut at KSW 59. Nine of Stosic’s 14 career wins have come by knockout, showing he can finish the bout within a moment.

Ivan Erslan returns to action at KSW 61 after his recent title matchup with light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun. Erslan will look to rebound off of his first career loss and make the journey back toward the light heavyweight title. Przemyslaw Mysiala will be standing across the KSW cage from him, ready for action. Mysiala’s last loss was also to Narkun but he was able to rebound in his last outing, winning with a second-round TKO at KSW 55.

In women’s MMA action, Karolina Owczarz will step back into the cage as she takes on Monika Kucinic. Owczarz started her professional career on fire, winning her first three contests in a row. She will look to come back from her first loss against Kucinic, who is undefeated, winning her MMA debut in January 2020.
