It is fight night just twenty-five minutes outside of the Windy City at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana. LFA 123 will be capped off with Daniel Argueta welcoming Marion Santos in a highly anticipated matchup between two bantamweight prospects. The Main Event: Bantamweights Set to Do Battle
TUF 29 alumni Daniel Argueta will make his fourth appearance under the LFA banner for his role in the red corner in the main event. After falling to Ricky Turcios as a member of Team Ortega during the first round of TUF 29 competition, Argueta bounced back with an armbar submission win over Rodney Mondala at LFA 116.
In the blue corner, Marion Santos will compete in his first fight on U.S. soil. In his brief professional career, Santos has racked up twelve wins with zero losses to his name. During his winning streak, Santos captured the Shooto Brasil Featherweight Championship in March 2020.
The Rest of the Card
The co-main event features a bantamweight scrap between former UFC signee Askar Askar (12-2) and Titan FC vet Ryskulbek Ibraimov (19-9). Two-fight Bellator vet Josh Streaker (7-4) will lock horns with Miguel Jacob (5-1) in a lightweight clash and Payton Brezinski (4-1) will welcome Cody Davis (4-0) at flyweight.
