Dana White has brushed aside his ongoing tension with Eddie Hearn, insisting the spotlight should remain on the massive Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury showdown.

Dana White and Eddie Hearn have been going back and forth over the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight. A big part of the dispute is over White’s involvement in promoting and producing the event, something Hearn claims isn’t allowed under the current agreement.

Their rivalry has also moved beyond the fight, with both sides signing fighters connected to each other and regularly trading shots in public. Now, the UFC boss has shut down questions about his issues with the Matchroom Boxing promoter.

Dana White Fires Back At Eddie Hearn

White brushed off questions about his issues with Hearn, saying the focus should be on making Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury happen. He said the situation isn't about him and Hearn and questioned why anyone cares about their back-and-forth when Joshua vs. Fury is the fight that really matters.

"It's not about me and him. He can't stop talking about this. It's not about me and him. AJ and Fury is the fight. Who gives a shit about me and Eddie Hearn other than you guys?" The UFC boss said at a recent DWCS press conference.

Now, many are questioning whether the 57-year-old is paying enough attention to the UFC, as there haven't been many exciting events recently. The Matchroom Boxing promoter has also taken aim at White, warning UFC fans that he is more focused on boxing these days.

Eddie Hearn Warns UFC Is 'Under Threat' As Dana White Shifts Focus To Boxing

Hearn believes the UFC could be facing serious problems as Dana White puts more and more attention into boxing. He questioned why White would shift his focus when the UFC is already such a massive and successful business. In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, the boxing promoter said:

“Look at the size of the UFC business, the revenue that it’s driving... and it’s like you’ve just basically gone, ‘Oh, we’ll leave that, and we’ll concentrate on Zuffa Boxing.’”

Hearn feels the UFC is currently under threat because it lacks major stars and is starting to face growing competition. Fans have also been vocal about their disappointment with recent fight cards, as big names are either injured or inactive. Everyone is now waiting for the UFC to step up and announce some exciting new matchups.
