The war of words between Eddie Hearn and Dana White has taken another turn. After White put himself at the heart of the matchup by calling himself one of its most important parts, Hearn has delivered a response that challenges the UFC boss’s claim.

During the UFC 322 press conference in Salt Lake City on Thursday, Dana White addressed reporters about his ongoing dispute with Eddie Hearn and its connection to the much-awaited Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua clash on Dec. 11. However, White’s comments appeared to barely faze Hearn.

Eddie Hearn Leaves Dana White Out in the Cold With His Latest Move

“Was I lying? Was I wrong? Am I not the promoter?,” White told MMA Fighting. “Am I not producing the entire f*cking event? The answer is yes. I think the difference between me and Eddie is Eddie’s trying to win some PR battle. Eddie likes to see himself on interviews. He likes to talk a lot and talking a lot will get you in a lot of f*cking trouble.”

But that wasn’t the end of it, as White later turned up the heat with a few sarcastic personal jabs at Hearn.

“I’ll put it to you this way: Like I said, judge me at the end of the year,” White said. “Let’s see how this whole thing looks in a couple of years. The writing is on the wall. Whatever little f*cking—pardon me, ladies—p*ssy game he thinks he won, he’s out of his mind. He’s incredibly delusional. He knows what’s going on.”

Well, Hearn was not about to let White’s comments go unanswered. On Friday, the boxing promoter fired back by sharing a brutal montage of clips featuring the UFC head honcho’s previous remarks about the Fury vs. Joshua fight. The footage appears to highlight several instances where White overstated his involvement in the blockbuster bout, only for his claims to later be contradicted.

“Gonna leave this one here,” Hearn wrote in a caption. “Time to move on to the big stuff. 10 weeks today the biggest fight in British boxing history! Let’s gooooo.”

The video shared by Hearn brings up White’s past claims that Fury vs. Joshua would take place in the U.S., even though the fight is now set to take place in Cardiff. However, White has never really explained what role he is playing in making the fight happen, or whether he has any official role at all.

His absence was also noticeable at Wednesday’s press conference, where his name was missing from the official introductions. When Saudi promoter Turki Alalshikh later mentioned White, the crowd quickly responded with boos.

So, what is the actual reason behind the UFC getting involved in all this? Well, the UFC head honcho himself has the answer.

Dana White Reveals What UFC Brings to Fury vs. Joshua

On Thursday, the UFC head honcho explained his absence from the London press conference announcing the heavyweight blockbuster. Interestingly, while White was missing, Zuffa Boxing executive Nick Khan did attend the event alongside Turki Alalshikh. With Hearn and Warren representing Joshua and Fury, respectively, White insisted that his team remains heavily involved in the event.

“I had the Contender Series yesterday, I had to be here today,” White said when asked why he didn’t attend the Fury vs. Joshua press conference. “I fly a lot but that’s a little bit of a rough trip.

“Not only am I promoting the fight, we’re producing the fight. UFC is going to produce the show. I don’t know how that’s a PR disaster. I’m right.”

While Dana White claims he played a key role in making the fight happen, Eddie Hearn does not seem interested in giving him the same spotlight.  As the fight is set to stream live on Netflix on Dec. 11 from Cardiff, UK, we may soon find out who is telling the truth, especially if White and the UFC are officially involved in producing the event.
