Even as the Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight gets locked in, tensions between Dana White and Eddie Hearn continue to simmer.

Dana White's name drew quite the backlash at the Joshua vs. Fury launch press conference on Wednesday. Despite staying back home in Las Vegas, the crowd erupted into a loud chorus of boos as his Zuffa Boxing partner, Turki Alalshikh, mentioned White.

Naturally, long-time rival Eddie Hearn enjoyed every bit of it, doubling down on his claims that Dana White isn't involved in the fight. He even put the UFC boss's comments about signing the venue contract in America under scrutiny, with the fight ultimately materializing at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.

These comments seem to have rubbed White the wrong way, who clapped back with conviction.

Dana White Rants Out Over Eddie Hearn's Accusations

During the UFC 332 pre-fight presser, Dana White discussed headliners and boxing matchups. When MMA Fighting brought up Eddie Hearn, however, the UFC head honcho replied with vigour.

"Was I lying? Was I wrong? Am I not the promoter? Am I not producing the entire f***ing event? The answer is yes," White maintained his involvement in the matchup.

Further, hinting at Hearn's insults about "the greatest PR disasters in boxing," the Zuffa Boxing co-founder blasted his arch-nemesis for his shallow outlook.

"I think that's I think the difference between me and Eddie is, Eddie is trying to win some kind of PR battle. Eddie likes to see himself on interviews. He likes to talk a lot. And talking a lot will get you in a lot of f***ing trouble.

"He's out of his mind. He's incredibly delusional."

Clearly, the bad blood between the promoters is only intensifying. However, with the showdown finally cemented for December 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, fans have little to worry about the matchup getting derailed. Whether Dana White plays a part in that remains to be seen.

Anthony Joshua Gives Up 8-Figures for UK Venue

It's not just the feuding promoters or Saudi financier Turki Alalshikh who contributed to the showdown. Anthony Joshua himself has helped the fight get off the ground, surprisingly conceding a massive chunk of his pay to keep the fight in the UK.

Dana White, Turki Alalshikh, and Netflix broadcasters had floated New York's famous Madison Square Garden as the potential venue. In fact, as the Saudi boxing chief explained, having the fight outside MSG would cost him $70 million in revenue.

The fans, however, raved for a British boxing night, and Joshua wasn't about to let them down. His manager, Eddie Hearn, revealed that the unified heavyweight boxing champion sacrificed $13 million (£10m) to ensure a UK venue.

While London's Wembley could not be secured due to curfew issues, the showdown will still go down in Wales, UK. And although the venue is confirmed, the promoters and their beef look far from settled.
