Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua In Jeopardy As Dana White Blames Eddie Hearn For "Hurting The Fight"
Dana White blames Eddie Hearn for putting Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua at risk, claiming he is hurting the fight.
The Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight, just days after finally being confirmed, might already be in trouble. A Friday night post from The Ring's Mike Coppinger suggested the bout could get called off due to issues behind the scenes. Dana White, who was in London for his Zuffa Boxing card headlined by Johnny Fisher's win over Michael Pirotton, admitted he's not confident either. He pointed the finger at Eddie Hearn, who's supposed to be helping make the fight happen, saying that person has actually been hurting it the whole time.

Speaking at London's Copper Box on Saturday, White also said he had no idea if Wednesday's planned Fury vs Joshua press conference would even go ahead. Well, the guy who's supposed to be (Eddie Hean) helping the fight has been hurting the fight the entire time. White made it clear he thinks Hearn is the one holding the fight back, and hinted Hearn could fix things himself if he really wanted the fight to happen. The UFC boss said Hearn has been damaging the fight from the start and openly questioned whether he's ever dealt with anyone as dishonest as him.
Tyson Fury Wants Dana White’s Involvement
Fury revealed he personally had a clause removed from his contract that would've kept Dana White out of the Anthony Joshua fight. He said it was originally in there, but he took it out himself, adding he wanted White involved regardless. In his words, “It was in my contract, but I took it out. F*ck ‘em. I want him involved. Two baldies together. I like Dana. Good business man and good guy.”
Meanwhile, it seems the fight itself is in danger. If it doesn’t happen, reports suggest that Terence Crawford might return from retirement for this card, while Tyson Fury could face David Benavidez.
