UFC lightweight star King Green has a fighting style that fans absolutely love. The fan favorites, or exciting fighters who never back down from striking exchanges, usually get the opportunity to fight for the BMF title.
Recently, Green expressed his desire to get a shot at the BMF title but questioned whether he would ever get the opportunity. Now, UFC CEO Dana White has answered whether Green has a chance to fight for the BMF title in the near future.

Green has delivered incredible performances in his recent fights. He is on a four-fight win streak, with the last three coming via finish. He is now set to fight Esteban Ribovics at UFC 332 on the main card.
At the UFC 332 media day, the 40-year-old veteran described a BMF title fight as the final major item on his bucket list, but he doesn't expect the UFC to simply hand him the opportunity. He also acknowledged the criticism that would come with receiving it.
Now, at the UFC 332 press conference, White was asked whether Green could be the perfect candidate for a future BMF title fight if he gets past Ribovics, with the reporter pointing to the veteran's willingness to fight anyone, anytime, as making him an ideal candidate for the BMF championship.
White agreed with the reporter's assessment that Green fits the BMF criteria.
“I do not disagree with you, I absolutely agree,” White said.

As for the BMF title, it now belongs to former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, who captured the belt by dethroning Max Holloway at UFC 326 in March via unanimous decision.
That said, Green needs to extend his win streak by defeating Ribovics this weekend to get closer to a BMF title opportunity. However, it won't be easy, as his opponent, 'El Gringo,' enters the bout full of confidence after knocking out Edson Barboza at UFC 330 in August.
King Green promises an exciting fight against Esteban Ribovics at UFC 332
Though Green has expressed his desire to fight for the BMF title, his immediate focus remains on Ribovics. The veteran contender has promised fans that they can expect the same aggressive approach he has brought throughout his career.
Green also highlighted his remarkable activity level at 40 years old.
“Who's doing it, bro? Five in a year. I'm gonna do six this year at 40. Put some respect on my name. I'm one of the hardest mfs that ever did this in a cage. I meant that. And I wasn't saying for no bonus. I wouldn't say this for no kudos,” Green said. “Fans can expect what they always expect from me. A real fight. And I can guarantee you he's going to sleep or I'm going to sleep. One of the two. But you get a fight.”
