Date and opponent revealed for UFC and PFL vet Aspen Ladd's BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing debut
Aspen Ladd is set to make her BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing promotional debut at a much-awaited event. Her opponent and fight date have now been confirmed.
Aspen Ladd is en route to making her debut in the BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing organization at BKB 58.
The upcoming matchup would be her second in the sport of bare-knuckle boxing. Details regarding the Californian's opponent, fight date, and venue have now been announced by BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing.
Aspen Ladd is scheduled to fight Bianca Daimoni in her maiden Trigon appearance at BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing's much-awaited Miami event, BKB 58
Aspen Ladd made waves back in June, as she and BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing confirmed that she'd signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion.
BKB CEO David Tetreault -- who has himself been in the news over the speculated Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury trilogy fight possibly materializing as a bare-knuckle boxing match -- was all praise for Ladd. Tetreault hailed her multidisciplinary combat sports background.
Moreover, Ladd, on her part, affirmed her excitement and underscored her eagerness to show the fans what she's capable of doing inside the famed BKB Trigon.
Here in August, the official Instagram handle of BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing put forth a fight poster, featuring Ladd and her opponent Bianca Daimoni.
Ladd will be facing Daimoni in a super lightweight (140-pound) matchup at BKB 58, which would be held at the James L. Knight Center in Miami on August 29.

Aspen Ladd (12-5 MMA) has done battle with some of the most elite fighters across multiple top-tier mixed martial arts organizations over the years, forging an amazing legacy in the sport. The 31-year-old boasts victories over the likes of Sijara Eubanks, Yana Kunitskaya, Julia Budd, and more.
Also, Ladd has gone toe to toe with reigning and former UFC champions such as Raquel Pennington and Kayla Harrison. She's a veteran of Invicta FC and the UFC, in addition to having had her recent fights under the PFL banner.
Ladd's latest MMA matchup witnessed her best Ekaterina Shakalova via unanimous decision at Bellator Champions Series 2 back in May of 2024. The Folsom-born combatant accrued a 4-3 record in the consensus world's premier MMA organization, the UFC.
The talented fighter has struggled with weight cuts in her career, particularly while competing as a bantamweight during her UFC stint. Ergo, she's primarily fought at featherweight in the PFL and at the PFL-acquired Bellator MMA event as well.
It's noteworthy that the weight classes' names and corresponding numbers tend to differ in MMA and other combat sports. As such, her imminent super lightweight bare-knuckle match at BKB 58 would be contested at 140 pounds.
Meanwhile, her MMA career saw her fight at flyweight, which is 125 pounds in MMA, as well as bantamweight (135 pounds), featherweight (145 pounds), and miscellaneous catchweight fights.
The MMAGOLD gym representative, who's long trained under the tutelage of head coach Jim West, commenced another chapter in her combat sports journey in November of last year.
She made her bare-knuckle boxing debut in style, competing in the BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) at BKFC 84. Ladd defeated Shyanna Bintliff via first-round KO inside the BKFC's iconic Squared Circle.

The knockout came courtesy of a hellacious left hook, which was craftily preceded and gradually set up by her throwing a few left hands to Bintliff's body. Ladd elicited considerable praise for her performance, and many fans suggested that she continue her bare-knuckle boxing pursuits.
Speaking of Ladd's highly anticipated BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing promotional debut, her opponent is also a veteran MMA fighter. Bianca Daimoni (8-4 MMA) has competed for notable organizations such as Invicta FC and Jungle Fight.
The Brazilian athlete's bare-knuckle boxing record stands at 1-1, with her most recent appearance inside the Trigon coming at BKB 50: Evolution in January. "Bibi" challenged Jamie Driver for the BKB welterweight title, but she found herself on the wrong end of a unanimous decision verdict against Driver.
The 39-year-old Daimoni would be looking to bounce back at BKB 58 and faces a formidable foe in Ladd. Furthermore, the BKB 58 card is set to be headlined by BKB heavyweight champion and unbeaten bare-knuckle boxer Gustavo Trujillo who'll defend his title against Mark O'Neil.
The card also comprises the much-awaited bare-knuckle boxing debut of Olympic gold medalist pugilist and former WBA (Regular) and IBF featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, who'll clash against Yesner Talavera.
