Ian Garry has heaped praise on his team, Chute Box in Brazil, ahead of his UFC 330 main event against Islam Makhachev.

Ian Garry will clash with Islam Makhachev for the welterweight title in the main event of UFC 330, and there's one aspect that could play a huge part: his team, Chute Box Academy.

With champions including Cris Cyborg, Charles Oliveira, Anderson Silva, Wanderlei Silva and Shogun Rua all fighting out of the famous Brazilian gym, Ian Garry will look to add his name to the list of legends to bring a belt home to Chute Box.

UFC 330, Chute Box and Garry's Team

Speaking on the UFC 330 countdown show, Garry's head coach, Diego Lima, said he is "so proud" to have Garry fight out of his gym and represent Chute Box. He goes on to say, "he has everything it takes to become a champion," and promises that, at UFC 330, we'll see the very best of Ian Garry.

Lima also offers a prediction for his man, and that is that Ian Garry will win the welterweight title via knockout, and states, "You can be sure of that".

When Garry discussed Chute Box, he noted how the team have pushed him to be better and how Chute Box are "his team, his family, my heart and my soul lives here, and I represent Chute Box".

'The Future' also said that he has a duty to win the belt and bring it back to Brazil.

UFC 330 Showdown

It won't be an easy task for Garry and Chute Box to bring the welterweight title back to Brazil. Islam Makhachev has somewhat of a super team of his own.

Fighting out of Khabib Nurmagomedov

's gym in Dagestan, Russia, the Eagles MMA team, formerly headed up by the legendary Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, boasts some of the best fighters the world of MMA has ever seen. From Khabib to Islam Makhachev and Umar Nurmagomedov, and of course, PFL's Usman Nurmagomedov (also, who can forget Magomed Zaynukov), the team knows something about winning.

Makhachev will be looking to break the longest winning run in UFC history as he's currently tied with former Chute Box legend, Anderson Silva on 16.

Can Ian Garry not only bring the belt back to Brazil but also help maintain Silva's record? We'll find out at UFC 330.
