Wang Cong has praised Natalia Silva ahead of their UFC 332 title clash while remaining confident she can capitalize on an opening and secure a finish.
In the main event of UFC 332, Wang Cong is set to square off against Natalia Silva for the vacant UFC Women's flyweight title. The event will go down on October 3 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ahead of the fight, Cong has shared her thoughts on her opponent and remains confident she can secure a stoppage win if she finds an opening.

In the UFC 332 countdown video, Wong has praised her opponent's fighting skills and believes this is the toughest test of her career. She also breaks down what makes Silva a dangerous fighter to share the octagon with.
“I think my opponent Natalia, is the toughest I’ve ever faced in the UFC. Her ranking say’s it all. She’s great at managing distance and kicking. When it comes to her legwork i think she's particularly smart,” Cong said.
Though she heaped praise on her opponent's skills, Cong remains confident in her ability to adapt. She believes that ability will allow her to deal with whatever Silva brings into the octagon. The Chinese fighter emphasized fighting intelligently, staying composed, and waiting for the Brazilian to make a mistake, and believes she has the skills to capitalize and end the fight before the final bell.
“Whatever she does, I can adapt. So I will definitely outstrike her on the feet. I think I control the fight better. I'm calmer and more composed. The main thing is to fight smart, and secure the win, and during the rounds, of course, if she gives me an opening, I'll definitely finish her,” Cong added.

Cong has promised she will go for the finish, and it will be interesting to see if she gets it at UFC 332, as her last finish came back in August 2024, when she knocked out Victoria Leonardo in the first round.
