Islam Makhachev made the day of several kids in his home country, but also pulled off a little prank on them.
Islam Makhachev's wholesome act with his young fans in Dagestan displayed once more why fans appreciate his generosity. Since Makhachev was interacting with kids, he also channeled his inner child to commit a little mischief while spreading smiles among the group.
Islam Makhachev Pranks Dagestani Kids While Making Them Happy With Money
Makhachev has displayed his generous nature on multiple occasions to date. The reigning welterweight champion has offered UFC fighters like Alexander Volkanovski and Demetrious Johnson a visit to Dagestan, where they could enjoy good times. This time he chose to make the day of a group of Dagestani kids.
A video on X showed Makhachev stopping by the group of kids amid a drive with one of his friends. He decided to hand them some money to give them a moment of happiness. While the kids flocked outside his car window, Makhachev handed them several currency notes, saying in Russian, "Is this enough for you? Wait, wait. Not enough? Take some more. Who else is there?"
However, before he started making the kids happy with the money, Makhachev found some fun for himself by pulling away the currency notes just as a kid came forward to take them.

Makhachev's generosity isn't limited to his fellow UFC colleagues or kids. The reigning welterweight king has also committed to even greater causes for the welfare of the less fortunate.
In the first half of 2025, Makhachev started an Instagram campaign with the goal of raising $77,490 to provide 3000 children's food costs for six months. Notably, he also raised $124,403 for a leukemia patient called Zainal Abid earlier.
UFC fans can only hope that Makhachev continues to associate himself with such wholesome initiatives, besides continuing his dominant run inside the octagon. Besides helping his own reputation, these acts also popularize the sport in an appreciable way.
