Luke Riley shares return timeline, opens door to Tommy McMillen clash and predicts first-round KO
Luke Riley has shared an update on his UFC return and expressed interest in a potential matchup with fellow undefeated prospect Tommy McMillen.
One of the most exciting prospects, Luke Riley, has wasted little time making his mark in the UFC. He has fought three times in less than eight months and has delivered an incredible, consistent performance. He recently shared that he is eyeing his octagon return in December and mentioned that he is open to fighting another rising prospect, Tommy McMillen.

In a video posted by RoninsMMA and now reshared by Title Fight Media on X, Riley was asked about his expected return to the octagon. The Brit prospect shared that he is planning to fight in December in Vegas.
“December Vegas,” Riley said.
Then the interviewer mentioned Tommy McMillen's name and asked Riley if he would be interested in this matchup. The Brit emphasized that he would accept any opponent UFC would offer him and stated that a matchup with ‘Gun’ would be an exciting one.
He then predicted that he would knock out the American in the first round if they shared the octagon in the near future.
“I always say no names come out of my tongue, so whoever the (0:28) promotion wants to give to me… Me and Tommy would have a great fight… I'd knock Tommy out in round one,” Riley added.

Riley was recently in a fight at UFC 329 against Kai Kamaka III. He delivered an impressive performance and secured a first-round knockout victory. However, many believe the stoppage was a little early.
Meanwhile, in his most recent UFC outing, McMillen faced Marwan Rahiki at UFC Noche, headlined by Jean Silva vs. Jose Delgado. The American undefeated fighter, in a hard-fought battle, secured a unanimous decision victory.
Why Luke Riley vs. Tommy McMillen is an interesting matchup
Riley has never lost in his professional MMA career and has 14 wins to his name, while McMillen is also undefeated with a professional record of 12 wins. If the UFC books the fight, someone would lose their undefeated record, which would sell the fight even more.
Their fighting styles make the matchup more interesting, as both look for the finish. McMillen has stopped 10 of his opponents, and so has Riley.
Riley is considered the next big name in the featherweight division, with the potential to become the champion, and his teammate, close friend, and UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett, too, believes that the undefeated Brit has what it takes to capture the title.
Though Riley has predicted Ko's victory over McMillen, it won't be an easy task, as the American showed his toughness in his last fight, coming back from adversity and securing the win at UFC Noche. It will be interesting to see whose hand gets raised in a potential fight.
