Movsar Evloev shares his thoughts on UFC fans who don’t see him as an exciting fighter.

Just like the sport itself, UFC fans are really raw and unfiltered. So, fighters often get either extreme love or massive backlash if fans don’t like them. Talking about the same, there are so many fighters like Belal Muhammad, Aljamain Sterling, and others who get hated the most. Similarly, Movsar Evloev is also one of those fighters who often gets hated because his fights are not considered very entertaining. Addressing the same issue, the featherweight contender shared his thoughts and explained his fighting style.

Movsar Evloev Explains Why Winning Matters More Than Entertaining Fans

Recently, Evloev stated he doesn’t think his fights are boring just because he hasn’t finished anyone in the UFC. As per him, many fans enjoy his wrestling, takedowns, and the crazy moments during his fights. For him, he just wants to become the best in the world, win every fight, and make his family proud. Other than that, he doesn’t care about putting on a bloody fight if it means risking a loss.

Evloev said, “No finish' doesn’t mean boring. But I have a lot of fans who love my fights because of wrestling, because of, you know, some weird situations; my submission defense is great, and my striking is getting better. Takedowns are good when you understand MMA. I’m here to be a champion, to be the best in the world, and to make my family happy by winning.”

For those who don’t know, Evloev has a 20-0 record, which shows how dominant he is as a fighter. However, when it comes to finishes, he has only seven, and none of them came under the UFC banner. Consequently, fans feel his fights are a bit boring, despite him showing great skill and technique.

Movsar Evloev Calls for Separate UFC League for Women’s MMA

Evloev has some strong thoughts about women’s MMA. He says the women’s fights he has watched have not been exciting for him. Because of that, he feels female fighters should have their own UFC league. He also wants to see how many fans would actually watch it. As per Evloev, “All fights I watched of women’s fights were not good. They need separate UFC just for women and we’ll see who watches this.”

Meanwhile, Movsar is not the only fighter who has said this. Sean Strickland has also mocked women’s MMA in the past. But women fighters have also shown many times that they can put on great fights and prove the doubters wrong.
