Philippine MMA fighter Jhanlo Mark Sangiao returns at ONE Fight Night 46ONE Championship

ONE Championship has added four MMA, Muay Thai, and submission grappling matches to ONE Fight Night 46 on Prime Video.

American MMA fighter Natalie Salcedo faces undefeated Polish newcomer Magdalena Czaban in an atomweight clash, and Jhanlo Mark Sangiao meets Marcos Aurelio in a bantamweight MMA matchup.

In addition, Nontachai Jitmuangnon and Kiamran Nabati collide in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest, and Meyram Maquine takes on Ruan Alvarenga in a featherweight submission grappling bout.

The event goes down in U.S. primetime at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, August 14. ONE Fight Night 46 will be headlined by the ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World Title clash between defending two-sport champion Stella Hemetsberger and Russian star Natalia Diachkova.

American star Salcedo Faces Undefeated Polish Finisher Czaban

Salcedo has built a reputation as one of the more well-rounded fighters in ONE Championship's atomweight division since arriving in the promotion last year.

The 34-year-old Colorado resident, who trains at both Warrior Fitness Center and Classic Fight Team, made an immediate impression in her 2025 debut by submitting Macarena Aragon in the first round. Salcedo suffered her first career loss to Japanese wrestler Chihiro Sawada in her next match, and now, she returns looking to establish herself in the upper echelon of the division.

Czaban is a genuinely dangerous assignment. The 26-year-old Polish fighter carries a perfect 4-0 record into her promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 46, having finished all four of her professional opponents.

A victory for Salcedo would go a long way toward recovering the ground lost against Sawada, while Czaban's debut victory would immediately establish her in a star-studded division.

Sangiao Takes on Aurelio in ONE Fight Night 46 Showdown

Sangiao is one of the most exciting young fighters from the famed Team Lakay camp. The 24-year-old Filipino carries a 7-1 career record and a 4-1 ONE mark, with his only promotional loss coming against reigning ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu.

Regarded as the next face of Philippine martial arts, Sangiao brings the Team Lakay fighting spirit and the hunger of a young contender who knows that consistent wins are the only path back to World Title contention.

Aurelio, 21, is a Brazilian prospect with serious potential. He tasted defeat for the first time in his promotional debut, losing to Sangiao’s Team Lakay stablemate Carlo Bumina-ang in January this year. However, he responded immediately with a second-round submission of Mauro Mastromarini two months later to elevate his record to 9-1.

Two young fighters with championship aspirations and significant finishing ability make this bantamweight contest one of the more compelling non-title bouts on the ONE Fight Night 46 card.

Nontachai and Nabati Collide in Muay Thai, Two Grappling Stars Rematch

Nontachai Jitmuangnon and Kiamran Nabati share a common motivation heading into August 14. The 27-year-old Thai from Jitmuangnon Gym arrives on a three-fight winning streak with a 53-22 career striking mark, looking to extend his run against one of the division's most physical opponents.

Nabati, 31, from Archangel Michel, suffered the only career loss of his 23-fight career in his most recent outing and arrives in Bangkok desperate to return to the win column. Both men need the result badly, as it could help them break into the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title picture.

The featherweight submission grappling contest between Meyram Maquine Alves and Ruan Alvarenga adds a fascinating sub-plot to the card. Alves, a two-time IBJJF World Champion with 135 career wins, makes his ONE Championship debut with a well-earned reputation as one of the most dangerous submission hunters in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Alvarenga, the son of renowned instructor Iran Brasileiro Alvarenga, brings his own grappling pedigree and 20 career victories into his own promotional debut, along with the added edge of having already defeated Alves via decision in a 2025 clash outside of ONE Championship.

The rematch dynamic between two grappling debutants gives the featherweight submission contest a storyline that transcends a routine debut matchup.
