Team Justin Gaethje Gives Definitive Statement on Ilia Topuria Rematch
Justin Gaethje’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, stated that there were no chances that Topuria would get his rematch immediately.
Who will Ilia Topuria face after coming back? This is a question that has piqued the interest of all the MMA fans for a long time now. Having lost his title at UFC Freedom 250, Topuria was forced to take an injury break. But now, when he is all set to return, the Spaniard has demanded a rematch with Justin Gaethje. Unfortunately, Ali Abdelaziz has provided a negative update on the same.
Gaethje’s manager, Abdelaziz, recently made it clear that despite all the talks, there is no chance that ‘El Matador’ will be getting an immediate rematch. Abdelaziz also pointed out that in order to fight for the title again, Topuria will have to work hard and earn it.
He said, “He’s not fighting Justin Gaethje next. Only one guy in the past did that. His name is Conor McGregor, and he’s not Conor McGregor, and nobody is. I believe Justin Gaethje will beat him 9 out of 10 times. Justin has his number. You will never—this fight will never happen."
Topuria recently dropped an update stating that he is ready to bounce back. Following a vicious fight with Gaethje, the former UFC two-division champion was declared medically unfit to compete.

Topuria recently dropped a controversial take on whether Gaethje cheats with his gloves. Taking to his X account, the ‘El Matador’ thanked his supporters and informed them that he has finally received the green signal from his medical team to get back into the octagon again.
But along with the message came one very serious allegation towards the current UFC champion. Topuria wrote, “Final medical tests done. I’m back. To all the clowns who’ve been talking shit and counting me out this whole time, here I am. Now let’s see who’s got the balls. Thanks to everyone for the support. Next time I’ll make sure they check Justin’s gloves so he doesn’t put anything.”
Such a statement immediately had the fans and critics going off at Topuria. While many anticipated Gaethje to accept his challenge following such an accusation, it turns out that the Spaniard might have to wait for his turn.
