Musical choices can tell us a lot about a fighter. UFC 236 had some phenomenal walkout songs throughout the card, it’s great seeing fighters ”dance” their way to the octagon. Walkout consultant Justin Pierrot advised on potential UFC 236 walkout songs before the card. Let’s see what the fighters ultimately decided on. Turn up the volume!
UFC 236 Walkout Songs
[Brandon Davis]
The 28-year old Davis came into UFC 236 on a two-fight losing streak. Losing three in a row can be a career ender in the UFC. This was his first fight at bantamweight, so he had to put on!
MUSIC CHOICE : CALM
[Randy Costa]
Making your UFC debut is never easy. The undefeated Costa looked relaxed when he made the walk to the octagon.
MUSIC CHOICE : SELF-ASSURED
[Poliana Botelho]
Coming of a loss in her last fight, Botelho was under immense pressure to perform. Botelho still managed to dance her way to the octagon. The crowd loved her walkout song!
MUSIC CHOICE : PLEASANT
[Lauren Mueller]
Musical choices can sometimes tell us where a person is at in their life. Not a lot of fighters choose to walk out to slow, emotional music. Mueller did. The lyrics gave her the motivation she needed.
MUSIC CHOICE : DETERMINED
[Montel Jackson]
Jackson had a big win in his first UFC fight. In his return, he looked just as calm as ever.
MUSIC CHOICE : CONFIDENT
[Andre Soukhamthath]
A song for the haters. Despite ups and downs in his career, Soukhamthath has a ton of self belief, and seems to be suggesting the best is yet to come.
MUSIC CHOICE : FOCUSED
[Belal Muhammad]
The first of three Nipsey Hussle tributes. Muhammad always delivers a good fight. He’s been grinding all his life!
MUSIC CHOICE : BOLD
[Curtis Millender]
There is no church in the wild. Millender always walks out to the same song, and clearly it gives him the energy he needs!
MUSIC CHOICE : SERIOUS
[Khalid Taha]
Taha lost his first fight in the octagon, and was motivated to win in his second fight. I’ve never heard this song before. It’s a popular song in Germany!
MUSIC CHOICE : CLOSE TO HOME

[Boston Salmon]
Making your official UFC debut is never easy. Salmon walked out calm and confident, with his roots in mind.
MUSIC CHOICE : REGGAE
[Max Griffin]
Max Griffin has a fan-friendly style, and he set himself up for success with a song that was sure to excite the host city. T.I was born and raised in Atlanta.
MUSIC CHOICE : CROWD-PLEASER
[Zelim Imadaev]
The only Tupac walkout song of the night. You could see it in the eyes of Imadaev when he walked out. He goes to war!
MUSIC CHOICE : AGGRESSIVE
[Alexandre Pantoja]
The only 50 Cent walkout song of the night. Pantoja is a confident, aggressive young man, ready to wipe out the division!
MUSIC CHOICE : HOSTILE
[Wilson Reis]
Reis knew his career was on the line, and he kept things simple.
MUSIC CHOICE : CONCENTRATED
[Matt Frevola]
Another DWTNCS contract winner. Frevola is a Serra-Longo fight team member. Frevola fights with a ton of enthusiasm, you can tell he’s happy to be in the cage.
MUSIC CHOICE : GRATEFUL
[Jalin Turner]
The second Nipsey Hussle walkout song. Turner is also a DWTNCS contract winner.
MUSIC CHOICE: COMMEMORATIVE
[Nikita Krylov]
At just 27 year old, Krylov is already a UFC veteran. He made his UFC debut back in 2013, at UFC 164.
MUSIC CHOICE : SLAVIC
[Ovince Saint Preux]
For Saint Preux’s 19th UFC fight, he let his opponent know he was in for a tough challenge, no matter what.
MUSIC CHOICE : UNSTOPPABLE
[Dwight Grant]
We have to go way back for this walkout song. Grant had only one thing on his mind : victory!
MUSIC CHOICE: TENACIOUS
[Alan Jouban]
This was Jouban’s first PPV main card walkout since UFC 184.
MUSIC CHOICE: DANGEROUS
[Khalil Rountree Jr.]
Ups and downs. That’s the best way to describe Rountree’s UFC career thus far. The pressure was on for this PPV main card bout, Rountree made a calculated decision to stay loose.
MUSIC CHOICE : CATCHY
[Eryk Anders]
I love this song. Anders knows how to get the crowd going. This one is a special gift for the Atlanta crowd.
MUSIC CHOICE: LOCAL
[Israel Adesanya]
The third Nipsey Hussle tribute of the night. Probably the song of the night. Adesanya looks so calm and focused when he walks out. A special player in the game!
MUSIC CHOICE : ON A MISSION
[Kelvin Gastelum]
I love this song, and so does Gastelum! Some Mexican vibes going into the biggest fight of his life!
MUSIC CHOICE: MEANINGFUL
[Dustin Poirier]
Louisiana‘s own chose a song that embodied his confidence and swagger Poirier. How can you deny this man?
MUSIC CHOICE: CHOSEN
[Max Holloway]
Holloway always walks out to Moki Boy‘s “Hawaiian Kickboxer”, but has been spicing things up with a intro song each time. Despite the implications of the “Drake curse”, Holloway continues to pay tribute to his famous acquaintance.
MUSIC CHOICE : BLESSED
