KSW will return with its second show of 2020 with KSW 54 set for Saturday, August 29, 2020. There was a recent shakeup in the main event, but the injury replacement will no doubt look to shine. Former professional Polish boxer, Izuagbe Ugonoh will make his MMA debut in the co-main event at KSW 54. The event can be seen worldwide on the KSW mobile app or on KSWtv.

The New Main Event

Mateusz Gamrot (16-0) vs Marian Ziolkowski (21-7-1)

Mateusz Gamrot was originally set to defend his lightweight title against fellow undefeated fighter, in the Russian Shamil Musaev. Due to a late injury, Marian Ziolkowski was moved into the spot and will get a chance to earn KSW gold. Gamrot took 2019 off but came back full force in 2020 defeating rival Norman Parke back in July by third-round TKO. The undefeated Gamrot has finished nine of his career 16 professional wins. The KSW’s current double champ of the featherweight and lightweight divisions looks to make up for lost time in 2019. Ziolkowski has been on a 2-0 run since losing to former featherweight champion Kieber Koike Erbst at KSW 44.

Co-Main Event

Izuagbe Ugonoh (0-0) vs Quentin Domingos (5-1)

Izuagbe Ugonoh (0-0) was born in Poland of Nigerian parents, will make his MMA debut in the co-main event spot Saturday night. It’s not often a debuting fighter sits in the co-main event spot, but Ugonoh is no regular debuting fighter. Ugonoh is a former professional boxer with an 18-2 (15 TKOs) record with multiple international boxing titles to his name. He also knows how to use his feet as he was an upcoming kickboxing star before transitioning to boxing, winning the WAKO World K1 Championship in 2009.

His opponent is another man with kickboxing skills, as he is set to battle former Glory kickboxer Quentin Domingos (5-1.) Thus far in his MMA career, Domingos has won by TKO/KO in every bout heading into his KSW debut. With a win against a big name like Ugonoh, this could catapult Domingos to the top contenders in the KSW’s loaded heavyweight division.

Here is the complete eight-fight card set to take place in Warsaw, Poland.
