The third and final installment of ONE Championship’s “A New Breed” event series, which has been previously recorded, will air on Friday, September 18. Atop the bill will be a ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship defense and five additional bouts. Below we will give you a ONE: A New Breed III preview.

The event from Bangkok, Thailand, has already given fans numerous finishes and memorable moments. ONE: A New Breed III will continue that trend with a thrilling card of exciting strikers going for the finish.

Before the COVID-19 global pandemic altered the world, Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy grabbed the inaugural ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title at ONE: Warrior’s Code in February against Pongsiri PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym. He returned in July at ONE: No Surrender to defend the title against Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex.

Now, Sweden’s Magnus Andersson steps up to face the reigning king and attempts to shock the world.

Petchmorakot welcomes all comers and has had a busy 2020 despite the pandemic. A second title defense would continue to establish his legacy and cement him in the history books. While he waits for the top challengers, Petchmorakot is intent on putting his status as the best in the world on the line.

Before the main event gets underway, a ONE Super Series bantamweight kickboxing bout between Captain Petchyindee Academy and Petchtanong Petchfergus will occur. The two Thai athletes will try to make a claim to break through into the official ONE athlete rankings where Alaverdi Ramazanov stands atop the division.

The co-main event is a battle of seasoned veterans. Captain enters with an incredible 140-40 professional record while Petchtanong posts a staggering 356-55-1 career mark. Additionally, the bout will mark the organizational debut for both men.

In the evening’s lone mixed martial arts contest, Thai-Japanese sensation Rika Ishige meets Sunisa “Thunderstorm” Srisen as both women attempt to get back into the win column in the atomweight division.

Srisen made her ONE debut against Stamp Fairtex, but the 19-year-old came up short in her debut performance. As one of Thailand’s budding prospects, she will have a chance to show the world her full skill set against Ishige.

In bantamweight Muay Thai action, Yodpanomrung Jitmuangnon meets Brazil’s Felipe Lobo. Also, Bangpleenoi Petchyindee Academy battles Armenian-Russian Yurik Davtyan in a featherweight Muay Thai contest in what will be the event’s opening bout.

All of the action can be seen for free at 8:30 a.m. EST/5:30 a.m. PST on B/R Live.
