A heavyweight bout between Caio Machado and Lee Mein has been inked for Battlefield Fight League 66.

The promotion announced the bout on Tuesday evening.

Machado (3-1-1) fought to a draw in his professional debut against Jamie Smyth, but followed up with a TKO victory in the rematch. At BFL 58 in 2018, “Big Foot” took on Dustin Joynson and lost by judge’s decision. The FKP MMA product went on to win his next two bouts, which included capturing the BFL heavyweight championship against Justin Doege at BFL 64.

Mein (11-14) has been a professional since 2000 and has stepped inside the cage 25 times. The 53-year-old veteran is currently riding a two-fight winning streak, with stoppage victories against Devon Smith and Grayson Wells. Over the course of his last six fights, the Alberta native is 5-1.

BFL 66 will go down in early 2021 at a location yet to be determined and on an unknown date. No other bouts have been announced for the fight card, but this will be the promotions first showing on UFC Fight Pass.
