KSW 57 Results
The night’s main event will feature heavyweight champion Phil De Fries defending his crown against Michal Kita. Kita is a huge task for de Fries, making his 33rd professional walk along with earning a big knockout in his KSW debut at KSW 54 in August 2020. Since coming to KSW in early 2018, De Fries has gone undefeated including a win over KSW’s light heavyweight champion, Tomaz Narkun.
With the recent departure of Mateusz Gamrot to the UFC, KSW now has a vacant lightweight champion to crown. Contending for the title will be former title contender Marian Ziolkowski and fellow Polish lightweight Roman Szymanski. These two are no strangers, meeting before under the same circumstances, to crown a vacant lightweight champion, but it was under the Fight Exclusive Night banner in 2016. Szymanski won that bout, but both of these fighters have grown tremendously since that bout.
After winning the inaugural KSW bantamweight title, Antun Racic, returns to the KSW for his first title defense. His challenger on the night will be Brazil’s Bruno Santos. Santos is on a four-fight winning streak and should prove to give Racic a tough first-title defense. Also on the card is a battle of former champions Borys Mankowski and Artur Sowinski.
