Results for the AMC Fight Nights 101: Primorsky Krai Governor’s Cup can be found right here on MMASucka. AMC Fight Night Global is a Russian-owned MMA organization that was founded 11 years ago. To celebrate ‘Victory Day’ they will be hosting a set of fights from the Fetisov Arena in Vladivostok, Russia. The event AMC Fight Nights 101 will be broadcast Friday, May 7, 2021, at 4:00 PM London Time/6:00 PM Moscow Time/8:00 AM PST/11:00 AM EST, according to their website. Fight Night Global events are normally broadcast on Match TV and Fight Network.

AMC Fight Nights 101

AMC Fight Nights 101 should host eight MMA bouts and will be headlined by Alexander Shlemenko (60-13) versus Márcio Santos (16-5). “Storm” Alexander Shlemenko is making his return to MMA after his 2019 victory over former UFC fighter David Branch. Russian-born Shlemenko was a middleweight champion in Bellator and M-1, additionally, he fought in Bodog, ShoXC, Jungle Fight, and many others in his 17-year long MMA career. Shlemenko in his 73 fight career has fought notables such as Melvin Manhoef, Kendall Grove, Tito Ortiz, Hector Lombard, Jose Landi-Jons, Jacare Souza, and many others. His opponent, Brazilian-born “Pedra” Márcio Santos fought just one month ago to a submission victory in, Eagle Fighting Championship. This submission victory makes it 11 total for the Brazilian, representing 70% of his victories. Santos will be looking to continue his win streak, and add another submission, at AMC Fight Nights 101.

The co-Main event of the evening will feature two Russian-born middleweights in Gennadiy Kovalev (18-7) facing off against Vyacheslav Babkin (8-3). Both Kovalev and Babkin are coming off victories and will be looking to continue their win streak. Kovalev fought just a few weeks on April 20th to a first-round TKO stoppage over Bo Yan.

Additionally, featured on this card Alexander Chemaev (0-0-1) will be looking to gain a victory over fellow Russian Ruslan Yarochkin (1-0). Welterweight Mikhail Doroshenko (6-1-1), of Russia, will meet Armenian David Khachatryan (25-5). Also, Sergey Lesnikov (4-0) will look to stay undefeated against surging Alexey Shurkevich (9-4). Kicking off the main card will be a featherweight showdown featuring Konstantin Kireev (10-10) against Aleksandr Osetrov (6-2-1).
