After an absolute blockbuster weekend of combat sports action, the MMASucka podcast crew return to review all the action. With highlights from UFC 278, PFL 9 and the ‘Rage on the Red Sea’, the guys go in-depth on all the talking points, discuss the outcomes of each fight and give detail on the biggest moments from each event.

PFL 9
MMASucka had boots on the ground at the Copperbox Arena as Frazer Krohn was live in the arena. His discusses his experience of the event and goes into detail on the atmosphere. The two then discuss the standout performance of Kayla Harrison who progressed to yet another final with a submission in the first round. There give a brief look at her career thus far and highlight why she’s as good as she’s shown.
Brendan Loughnane also picked up a huge victory in his grudge match against Chris Wade. With that win, Loughnane also progressed to the final to face Bubba Jenkins for $1 million and the PFL tournament win.
Dakota Ditcheva and Simeon Powell are also highlighted as top prospects and one’s to watch.
UFC 278
The boys then review UFC 278, focussing entirely on the main event. They go into detail on how the fight was won, why the knockout wasn’t a lucky shot and Frazer gives an in-depth analysis of how the strike was landed after all the set-ups that Leon Edwards showed.
Rocky’s life, his journey to the Octagon, his trials and tribulations are discussed and what his win has done for UK MMA.
They also discuss the potential trilogy fight between Edwards and Kamaru Usman and why the UFC need to utilise the British market now.

Finally, the guys look at the huge heavyweight fight that happened in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night. They discuss how Joshua made improvements but how ultimately, it wasn’t enough.
