Cage Warriors 168 Results

24 hours after BEC Arena in Manchester held Cage Warriors 167, a card part of its “Unplugged” series, the full house will be rocking on Saturday for Cage Warriors 168. Keep it locked right here to MMASucka for complete results from today’s show.

Live coverage from BEC Arena kicks off at 2:30 pm ET/ 11:30 am PT with the undercard, followed at 5 pm ET/ 2 pm PT with the main card. As always, the entire event will be streamed gavel to gavel on UFC Fight Pass. Today’s prelims are also streamed on the UFC Fight Pass YouTube channel.

Main Event and Main Card Opener

While two championship fights will take place on Cage Warriors 168, it’ll be an atypical setup for the championship doubleheader when compared to other promotions. Your headlining bout sees the vacant light heavyweight title up for grabs when Andy Clamp (12-2, 1 NC MMA, 1-1 CWFC) takes on Matty Byfield (6-1, 1 NC MMA, 3-0, 1 NC CWFC).

The other championship fight happens during the day’s first main card fight. This contest had originally been slated to serve as the Cage Warriors 168 featured prelim between current titleholder Liam Gittins  (12-4 MMA, 9-4 CWFC) and challenger Roberto Hernandez (9-1 MMA, 7-0 CWFC) before being switched to the main card opener due to time constraints on the undercard. Both title fights are five rounds at five minutes per round.

Co-Main Event

The co-main event of Saturday’s card features a featherweight confrontation between undefeated Luke Riley (8-0 MMA, 8-0 CWFC) and 28-fight veteran John DeJesus (17-11 MMA, 3-1 CWFC) an alum of Bellator MMA.

Rest of the Card

Other bouts on the main card today include a lightweight attraction matching James Power (5-1 MMA, 2-1 CWFC) with Gianluca Rocca (8-3 MMA, 1-0 CWFC), a bantamweight showcase between Sam Kelly (5-2 MMA, 2-1 CWFC) and Alessandro Giordano (6-3 MMA, 0-2 CWFC), and another 155-lb. fight pitting Adam Cullen (7-1 MMA, 7-1 CWFC) against undefeated Harel Cohen (6-0 MMA, CWFC promotional debut.)
