No UFC 300? No problem.
Ever since leaving the UFC in 2022, pay-per-view superstar Nate Diaz has been teasing a return to the big show. The 38 year-old had his boxing debut his last time out in August, going the 10-round distance with Jake Paul.
Diaz came up short in the ring but he’ll look to make up for it in the Octagon, should the opportunity arise as he isn’t under UFC contract anymore. Many fans believed we’d see the UFC star take center stage at UFC 300, whether that was against Conor McGregor or somebody else entirely.
That never came into fruition as UFC CEO Dana White announced Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill would headline the historic event instead. Apr. 13 might be out of the question, but the Stockton-native is confident his time will come and has an idea in mind on when that will be.

Diaz shared concept art for a UFC 306, a likely one-off event to be held at the ‘Sphere’ in Las Vegas, Nevada. White promised on Pat McAfee’s show that this second ‘Noche UFC’ will be the ‘greatest live event anybody has ever seen’ in this unique and high-tech venue.
Time will tell if Nate Diaz will be a part of this card’s line-up on Sep. 14, right before Mexican Independence Day.
