GLORY COLLISION 4 Adds Petchpanomrung, Ozcaglayan, Rigters’ Opponent

GLORY Collision 4, on October 8, continues to grow in magnitude. A press release for GLORY Kickboxing recently announced the addition of three additional fights for this October kickboxing event. The event will be headlined by the end of the trilogy between Alistair Overeem and Badr Hari and has confirmed Petchpanomrung vs Abraham Vidales, Serkan Ozcaglayan vs Cesar Almeida, and Levi Rigters vs Tariq Osaro.

Petchpanomrung vs Abraham Vidales – GLORY Featherweight Championship

Through a press release, GLORY confirmes this featherweight championship fight:

Featherweight Champion Petchpanomrung will make his return to the GLORY ring for the first time since February of 2020 as he defends his title against Abraham Vidales. The Thai phenom has held the belt since September of 2018 and has subsequently defended it three times. He will look to add another defense to his resume when he faces Vidales, a highly touted prospect out of Mexico who has begun his GLORY career with four wins in his first five fights.

Serkan Ozcaglayan vs Cesar Almeida – Middleweight

Top-ranked middleweights will have a highly anticipated showdown, GLORY says:

“In the middleweight division, top-ranked contender Serkan Ozcaglayan will square off against the fourth-ranked Cesar Almeida. Ozcaglayan is 2-0 so far inside the GLORY ring with each of the wins coming against top-five opponents. He’ll look to continue his momentum against Almeida, who aims to make his case for a rematch with Middleweight Champion Donovan Wisse after dropping a closely contested decision to him in December of 2019.

Levi Rigters vs Tariq Osaro – Heavyweight

The Dutch-born Levi Rigters was previously confirmed to be competing at this event with no named opponent. Now, his opponent has been confirmed according to GLORY Kickboxing:

“Additionally, rising heavyweight star Levi Rigters will face the heavy-handed Tariq Osaro. Anointed by many as “The Prince of Kickboxing,” Rigters will look to maintain his ranking in the division’s top-five against Osaro, who earned a knockout victory in his GLORY debut last May.”

These three bouts add to the already stacked fight event which features Tyjani Beztati vs Stoyan Koprivlenski for the Glory Lightweight Championship, Tiffany van Soest vs Sarah Moussaddak, for the Glory Women’s Super Bantamweight Championship, and Sergej Maslobojev vs Tarik Khbabez for the vacant Glory Light Heavyweight Championship, headlined by Alistair Overeem vs Badr Hari III.

GLORY Collision 4 will be broadcast live from the Gelredome in Arnhem, The Netherlands on October 8.
