Allan Nascimento has died at the age of 34. The Brazilian flyweight was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack while sleeping on Monday morning, according to a statement released by UFC Brasil. Despite the efforts of the medical team that responded to the scene, Nascimento was pronounced dead.
UFC Confirms Allan Nascimento's Death
The UFC confirmed Nascimento's death through its Brazilian social media channels, expressing its condolences to his family, friends, teammates and loved ones. The promotion also referred to "Puro Osso" as a beloved member of its flyweight roster.
Nascimento had been competing professionally since 2011 and joined the UFC in 2021 after previously appearing on Dana White's Contender Series in Brazil. He went 4-2 in the Octagon and ended his career with a 22-7 professional record.
Allan Nascimento's MMA Career
A black belt in jiu-jitsu, Allan Nascimento built his career around his grappling skills and recorded 15 submission victories throughout his professional career. He also earned two knockout wins and finished 12 of his opponents in the first round.
Allan Nascimento made his UFC debut against Tagir Ulanbekov at UFC 267 in October 2021. Although he lost the fight by split decision, the Brazilian went on to collect victories over Jake Hadley, Carlos Hernandez and Jafel Filho during his UFC career.
His final UFC victory came against Cody Durden in November 2025, when Nascimento submitted his opponent with an anaconda choke. He then returned to the Octagon in June 2026, losing a split decision to Mitch Raposo.
Nascimento's passing comes just weeks after his most recent UFC appearance. He was 34 years old.
