Arman Tsarukyan, ahead of his UFC 331 fight against Mauricio Ruffy, claims he isn’t the richest UFC superstar.

Everyone knows Arman Tsarukyan lives one of the most flashy lifestyles of any UFC fighter. Private jets, a multi-million-dollar luxury car collection, and he doesn’t shy away from showing it all off on social media either.

The Armenian fighter has kept pretty quiet about his actual earnings over the years, only mentioning that his family has a construction business back home. But the 29-year-old recently got honest and admitted he is nowhere near the top when it comes to the richest fighters on the roster.

Arman Tsarukyan Dismisses Claims He’s The Richest UFC Fighter

Tsarukyan made it clear he is not the richest UFC fighter, with Conor McGregor sitting way ahead of him on that list. He also pointed out that Alex Pereira pulls in more money than him from his UFC deal. During his recent interview with Vpiska, the Armenian fighter said: “Even fighters like Alex Pereira make 2-3 times more than me from fights and sponsorships. Islam Makhachev too, he is a millionaire.”

He also threw Islam Makhachev’s name in there as another fighter sitting on serious money. Makhachev just came off a successful title defense against Ian Garry at UFC 330, and after that win, Tsarukyan doesn’t see many real threats waiting for him at 170lbs.

However, unlike many other fighters, he didn’t struggle financially, as he comes from a wealthy family. But that hasn’t lowered his hunger to become champion, which is quite rare for a sporting star.

Arman Tsarukyan Says Islam Has Almost No Threats At 170

Makhachev showed once again why people put him in the GOAT conversation. He beat Garry on the scorecards and nearly put him away in the second round too. Looking at that performance, Tsarukyan doesn’t see anyone at welterweight who can seriously trouble him right now.

“Morales could maybe be a problem. But still, right now, who can beat Islam? Maybe only prime Kamaru Usman, but he’s gone.” The 29 year old told to Ariel Helwani.

Garry gave it everything and landed some good shots on Makhachev, but it wasn’t enough in the end. Now the debate has shifted to who steps up next, with names like Michael Morales and Carlos Prates being thrown around. Time will tell who gets that shot at the 34 year old.
