Cris Cyborg reacts to Ketlen Vieira's astonishing weigh-in failure ahead of PFL Tampa: "7 pounds!?"

Cris Cyborg was left nearly speechless by Ketlen Vieira's seven-pound disaster on the scale ahead of their PFL Tampa title fight.
Cris Cyborg could not believe her eyes after watching Ketlen Vieira miss weight by seven pounds for their women's featherweight title fight. Despite reacting to it with shock on social media, she has vowed to defeat Vieira in classic Chute Box fashion.
Cris Cyborg promises a beating at PFL Tampa
The PFL Tampa headliner will feature a women's featherweight title fight between reigning champion Cris Cyborg and ex-UFC women's bantamweight standount Ketlen Vieira. Unfortunately, controversy arose at the weigh-ins when Vieira weighed in at 152.2 pounds, which is 7.2 pounds over the featherweight title fight limit. Because of this, Vieira is now ineligible to win the title, even if she beats Cyborg in the fight, which the PFL opted not to scrap. The decision likely took Cyborg's own feelings into account, as she took to social media to express her astonishment, while also vowing to punish her opponent with a severe beating.
"7 pounds?! Chute Box style... We don't care. Porrada . See you tomorrow."
For Vieira, it is a massive disappointment. This would have been her first title fight in a major MMA promotion, but she squandered it by missing weight. It certainly won't help her earn a fight with the great Ronda Rousey, who she recently highlighted as a dream opponent. It also worsens her prospects of returning to the UFC, as her release from the promotion remains a bitter topic. However, if she can't make weight at women's featherweight, which is a division that no longer exists in the UFC, she's likely to struggle making weight again as a women's bantamweight, given that she has also missed weight at 135 pounds in the past.
For Cyborg, she'll be determined to emerge victorious in what could be her retirement fight, despite her refusal to fully commit to laying her gloves. Though whatever happens in the cage, it'll be her last fight in the PFL, unless she renews her contract, and a successful title defense would be the ideal way to cap off her legendary career.
