Former KSW two-division champion Roberto Soldic signs with the UFC
The Croatian knockout artist is now listed on the UFC roster but does not have a date set for his promotional debut.
Roberto Soldic has found a new home after his contract with ONE Championship expired in early August. According to a report from Pelunaton on X, the former KSW two-division champion has signed with the UFC. Although there has been no official announcement from the organization yet, the Croatian fighter is already listed on the promotion's roster on its website. There is still no date or opponent for Soldic's UFC debut.
At 31 years old, Soldic arrives at the UFC with a 21-4 record and one no contest, including 18 knockout and TKO finishes. The Croatian fighter is known as an explosive southpaw with devastating left-hand power and a calm, calculating style inside the cage. Although Soldic was competing at middleweight in his most recent fights, "Robocop" appears as a welterweight on the UFC's roster.
Roberto Soldic Brings KSW Championship Pedigree to UFC
A professional fighter since 2014, Soldic joined KSW in 2017 and immediately challenged for the welterweight title. The Croatian fighter defeated Borys Mańkowski in his promotional debut to win the belt. In his second KSW appearance, he suffered a TKO loss to Dricus Du Plessis, ultimately losing his title. Soldic met the new champion for an immediate rematch and knocked out the South African fighter to reclaim the belt.
A few years later, Soldic moved up to middleweight, where he also became a champion. In December 2021, the Croatian fighter defeated Mamed Khalidov by knockout to win the title in his last KSW appearance. Soldic later competed at ONE Championship, where he went 1-1 with one no contest.
The UFC has yet to announce Soldic's promotional debut or an opponent, leaving the former KSW champion waiting for his first assignment at 170 pounds.
