Francis Ngannou Not Entertaining Dana White's "Bad Guy" Comments
The UFC CEO was definitely in the mood to spill some controversies when he made his appearance on the Nightcap Podcast. "Listen, Ngannou is on my Oscar De La Hoya list," White said, comparing his infamous turbulent relationship with Oscar De La Hoya and current bitterness with Ngannou. He also went on to address the Cameroon-born fighter as “a bad guy."
“The Predator” seemingly had enough of it as he took his X platform to clap back. “Saying the guy that I spent over three years and a lot of money in law firms building an escape plan to get away from, meanwhile he was doing everything in his power to ensure I was never free. You have to take that loss; it is irreversible.” Reminding White of his own contrasting actions.

White and Ngannou have constantly feuded over various things, including Ngannou's bitter 2023 UFC exit, contract disputes, pay disagreements, and an alleged shirt-grabbing incident over a missed $50,000 bonus.
Now, even after four years have passed, the relationship remains tainted between the two.
Dana White Admits He Wanted Francis Ngannou To Lose
This ongoing beef, however, had only started with Dana White’s accusation. What followed was another shocking admission, although the speculations were there.
During his appearance on the Big Boss TV podcast, he did not miss an opportunity to admit publicly about rooting against the former UFC heavyweight champion. When asked to name a UFC fighter he wanted to see lose, he did not waste much time before replying, "It would have to be Francis Ngannou Ciryl Gane…"He reiterated, “Damn right, I wanted Ngannou to lose."
These comments were made about the then-UFC Heavyweight Champion facing Gane in a January 2022 title defence at UFC 270 that arrived amid a contentious contract dispute. Naturally, the fighter did not appreciate this. He later posted about his last fight night in the UFC on X, calling it "The night that hurt the most”

Despite White Ngannou’s contentious relationship, “The Predator” (19-3) remains MMA's lineal heavyweight champion, having gone unbeaten in the sport since departing the UFC with the promotion's blue-ribbon belt.
