British challenger George "G-Unit" Jarvis is chasing the moment he has been building toward for over a year.

The 26-year-old faces two-sport ONE World Champion Regian "The Immortal" Eersel in a lightweight Muay Thai title rematch at The Inner Circle 33 on Friday, October 2. That main event will stream exclusively via live.onefc.com.

When these two first met at ONE Fight Night 34 in August 2025, Eersel became the first fighter to ever finish Jarvis, stopping the English challenger in just 84 seconds. The result was painful, but “G-Unit” has used every day since to earn his way back.

He dismantled former world title challenger Sinsamut Klinmee and knocked out Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong for the second time in his career, a result that carries extra weight given that Eersel himself needed five rounds and a unanimous decision to outclass the same Thai striker.

Jarvis Says Eersel Did Not Do Anything Particularly Well in Their First Fight

The English challenger has not spent the months since the first fight revising his assessment of Eersel's performance. Jarvis has been consistent in his reading of what happened in August 2025, and the lesson he has taken from it is entirely self-directed.

"In the first fight, Eersel obviously caught me very early in the first round. I'll say this all the time, but it's not like he did anything particularly well. I just did everything wrong. We learned a lot from that fight," Jarvis stated.

Jarvis's two convincing victories since the loss demonstrate that the lessons learned have been applied, and the Lumpini Crawley man arrives at his rematch at The Inner Circle 33 with the clearest picture he has ever had of what is required to defeat the champion.

The Brit Has Matured, Believes He Can Shock the World

The intervening year has done more than add two wins to Jarvis' record. The striker has identified a personal evolution that goes beyond technical adjustments, and he believes the fans have already seen evidence of it in his post-loss performances.

"I've matured a lot. I've grown up a lot. I think the fans can see that. I've come back this year and proved myself. I've earned my shot, and I'm excited to show everyone what we already know – how good I am and that I can shock the world and take that belt," he explained.

Eersel bring a legacy to The Inner Circle 33 as one of the finest strikers the heavier weight divisions have produced. For Jarvis, October 2 is about erasing the only blemish on an otherwise destructive promotional career and claiming a ONE World Title in the process.

Jarvis Is Not Thinking About Eersel in the Rematch at The Inner Circle 33

The mindset Jarvis has adopted heading into the rematch is one of the more psychologically sophisticated approaches a challenger has articulated ahead of a title fight. The English striker has removed the champion from the center of his preparation entirely.

"When I fight Regian again, I'm not thinking about what Regian is doing. It's what I need to change. It's me versus me. If I can get what I need to get right, then there's no one that can stop me," he declared.

Eersel has publicly stated that the knowledge of the knockout is in the back of Jarvis head and could work against him as a psychological burden in the rematch. But "G-Unit" is thinking of the fight more as a personal challenge rather than a puzzle and refuses to be weighed down by it.
