Josh Hokit suggests Alex Pereira BMF title fight, open to Ciryl Gane clash in Paris

Josh Hokit has put forth his proposal for a BMF championship fight featuring Alex Pereira, in addition to also taking aim at interim UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane.
Josh Hokit's mixed martial arts career has gone from strength to strength over the past year. Coming off back-to-back wins over two longtime heavyweight contenders, "The Incredible Hok" has now set his sights on a pair of potential championship matchups.
Hokit has called out heavyweight divisional newcomer Alex Pereira for a BMF title fight. Additionally, the 28-year-old has expressed interest in fighting newly-crowned interim UFC heavyweight titleholder Ciryl Gane on the Frenchman's home turf, Paris.

Josh Hokit's latest octagon outings saw him defeat Curtis Blaydes via unanimous decision earlier this year and then secure a one-sided second-round TKO win over Derrick Lewis at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14.
Incidentally, former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira debuted in the heavyweight division at UFC Freedom 250. "Poatan" fought Ciryl Gane in the event's co-headlining match and was stopped via second-round TKO.
The win earned Gane the interim UFC heavyweight title, which he'd also held a few years ago. "Bon Gamin" earned the honor of being a two-time interim UFC heavyweight champion, and he's now expected to rematch heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall when the latter returns from his eye injury hiatus.
Moreover, Hokit took multiple jibes at Pereira and Gane during the buildup to UFC Freedom 250. He also faced widespread criticism for making a few extremely personal remarks about Pereira's family, his mother, to be specific.

Despite Alex Pereira's defeat in his maiden heavyweight divisional fight, the consensus is that he's still one of the biggest stars in the sport of MMA.
Well, Josh Hokit took to X a few hours ago and proposed a fight between himself and Pereira for the heavyweight version of the UFC's symbolic BMF title.
As of this time, ex-UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira is officially considered to be the reigning BMF champion.
Fans often point out that the BMF belt was made as a sign of acknowledgment for accomplished fighters who boast entertaining fighting styles and a charismatic persona.
Pereira, boasting extraordinary accolades and being a fan-favorite, could make him fit the bill for a BMF title fight. For his part, Hokit jabbed at the legendary Brazilian fighter, who's seemingly willing to fight him, and wrote:
"I'm waiting for my "Happy Fathers Day" message from @AlexPereiraUFC because I AM YO DADDY HAHAHA !!"

I AM YO DADDY HAHAHA‼️
Capping off another X post with an 'eyes' emoji, seemingly conveying his curiosity, Hokit proposed that they could clash for the BMF title at the UFC's traditional MSG (Madison Square Garden) card in November:

Furthermore, Ciryl Gane recently signaled that he'd like to fight in his native Paris, ideally in a title unifier against Tom Aspinall. Hokit sounded off on Gane and noted that they could clash in Paris if Aspinall doesn't return from his injury break.
Hokit, a former American Football player and amateur wrestler, underlined that he's a better all-around athlete than Gane, who's himself a basketball enthusiast.
"The Incredible Hok" posted, "Cyryl Gane wears a th*ng when he mows his lawn... if Aspinall doesn't come back then let's fight September in Paris... I'll beat you in a fight and in a game of 1on1 basketball because I'm the greatest all around athlete to ever step into the octagon !!"
